About
Training Philosophy
KIT embodies “Kaizen” to dedicate us to our client’s goals. Kaizen is a Japanese word meaning, “to strive for continuous improvement.” This philosophy leans into focusing on meeting clients where they are and taking advantage of every opportunity to improve. Maddy Hatch
Maddy’s love for training started with her love for basketball. She began training and interning under Ashley in 2015. Her training primarily focused on sport performance. A few injuries early in her career spurred her interest in prehabilitative and corrective training as well. Maddy completed her BS in Exercise Science at Humboldt State University and immediately following took a position as a Physical Therapy Assistant. She learned how to help individuals and athletes recover and thrive post injury. Maddy has played professional basketball in Spain and Italy. True to the saga of underfunded women’s sport programs, Maddy found herself on teams without a strength & conditioning program. She took initiative and helped her teammates by taking them through workouts herself. Maddy is always looking to improve her skills so she can help others succeed. She is currently completing her Masters Degree in Exercise Science.
